U12s Information

Hi all,

I hope you're all safe and well.

You are reading this email because your child is eligible to play U12s in 2022 or played in U11s in 2021.

We have registered a Mayne U12s team and we are confident that we'll have around 25 players in the squad. However only 6 children are currently registered

The season is fast approaching with three weeks of grading matches beginning Sunday 20 March and Round 1 starting either Friday 22 April or Sunday 24 April (View key dates here). You must be registered to play in grading matches.

U12s play mostly Sundays and some Friday nights

Please note we will now be training on Thursday instead of Fridays.

Training Times

Tuesday 5:30 - 6:30pm (Zillmere JAFC) (AFLX game with Cambo)

Thursday 5:30 - 6:30pm (Mayne JAFC / Nundah) (either in U12/U14 squad or U12s)

What I require from you

• I need to know if your child is going to play this season

• If yes, I need them registered well before the first grading match

• When your child can be at training, ideally at both sessions

• If you know of any other boys that would like to play - invite them down

If you have any questions about the season, please reach out. A lot of work goes into keeping a team on the park - especially during pandemics and floods getting in the way of pre-season.

I'd appreciate your response to the above questions as soon as possible.
